Clay Thomas #16 Wins M.B. Mitsubishi Truck Race

4/15/16 News - Clay Thomas kicked off the 2006 Myrtle Beach Mitsubishi Truck Series with a win in dominating fashion. Thomas sat on the pole for Saturday nights race and never looked back. Thomas led from flag to flag thus proving why he is the defending series champion. Strom Altman #7 in a brand new Dodge Truck out of Charleston, SC came home second. All of the close racing took place for 3rd on back. Jimmy Herrington and Greg Todd #5 raced side by side lap after lap battling all night in the top five. Herrington #6 ended up 3rd and Greg Todd wound up 5th after Ryan Hall #66 mounted a late race charge towards the front bringing home an impressive 4th place finish in the 50 lap shootout.

John Brown #29 Brings Home the Win in Charger

4/15/06 News - John Brown driving the Trophy Shop, Sports Clip #29 special took home the victory in Saturday nights charger main event. Brown out of Marion, SC started on the point and led the race in its entirety as he proved to be a contender for the 2006 championship. Brown was followed across the finish line by Michael Jordan #84 out of Conway, SC who posted a 2nd place in just his 2nd ever charger race. Third went to hard charging Ed Ray who provided some exciting action early in the race when he went spinning out of the 4th turn and collecting Robbie Mew. Ray was able to continue on though. Fourth went to Dal Wright #31 who was sporting a brand new ride and paint scheme for this season.
