Myrtle Beach 400 Update-Preliminaries for the Myrtle Beach 400 got underway Saturday night with the SELLM Challenger 50. Brandon Setzer led from start to finish claiming the win over seventeen entries. Saturday afternoon action was Matt Cox regular in the speedway late model division posting the fast time. Bailey Miles from Hemingway, SC won the 50 lap mini-stock race. Marty Ward battled the field of Super Trucks to win the 100 lap event over a field of twenty Super Trucks. Sunday morning rains saturated the track and the radar was showing a front covering the Grand Strand and the coastal counties of South Carolina. The NASCAR Late Model 250 lap and the SELLM Pro-division 100 lap races have been rescheduled to March 22, 2013.
