Racing resumes at Myrtle Beach Speedway with many new events and special events for 2013.

MBS-LogoRacing resumes at Myrtle Beach Speedway with many new events and special events for 2013.  With a late start in 2012 and short schedule, the racing schedule this year will be full.  NASCAR will continue to sanction the track with the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series points division being the speedways Late Model Division.  Support Classes will be the Chargers and the Mini-Stocks. The Mini-Stocks will race under the Mini-Mayhem Rules which now, will allow four or more tracks to have the same rules.  A review of the racing schedule will be Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights, you will need to review the entire season schedule to keep up with action racing and special events held at the historic racetrack.   This will be the 55th year for the race track that has seen the greats of racing compete at the .538 mile asphalt facility. Super Trucks Added

supertrucksThe Coastal-Pee Dee Super Truck Series has been added to the 2013 Myrtle Beach Speedway Schedule. Bob Lutz, owner of the speedway welcomes back the “Super Trucks” to the track. “I feel the trucks are an added addition to the great racing we present during the racing season. Many fans have expressed the enjoyment of seeing the pick-ups race at the historic facility and we are giving them just that.” Kevin Parsons who heads up the series said, we have a great group of racers who supported the Coastal-Pee Dee Series in our inaugural year and are ready to race in 2013. The will be visiting various tracks in the two Carolinas. The trucks are purpose built tube chassis race vehicles with fiberglass bodies and V-8 engines.
