Drift and Drag MBS

Myrtle Beach Speedway held the first ever drifting event in Myrtle Beach on Wednesday, April 19th, 2006 and has since expanded the  program to include street style drag racing. Each month we set up an infield drifting course and also stage drag races on the front stretch from turn 4 to the start finish line.

Our Goal

- We hope to build up the import drifting scene and also give street racers a safe place to compete in their tuner or muscle cars. We had a great turn out during our first event and expect the popularity of the event to grow exponentially. We truly have created an event that you can't see or experience anywhere but here. Finally a place to have fun, burn some tires and show off your ride.

Admission and Competitor Entry

- General admission is $10.00 which includes parking and infield access so that you are virtually feet from all the action.

- A helmet is required for all competitors

- This is the only event of its kind in the region to combine drifting and drag racing into one show which provides non stop action.

  • When entering the Speedway drive by the main office and proceed on the road veering to the right. Pass through the gate next to the infield/pit ticket window and drive up the hill to the red track crossover gate (turn 1) where you will sign in and register for the event before parking on pit lane.

Who can compete?

- Anyone with a car, a valid drivers license and a helmet
