4/25/2005 - Late Model Disqualification

Saturday night’s NASCAR Late Model Stock Race results were changed following the post race inspection by Myrtle Beach inspectors early Sunday morning. Mike Cox "Chief Inspector" conducted the tear down of the Number 18 Jamie Lee driven late model that has won the first two races of the year and apparently was going to claim his third victory in as many races. The evaluations of his cylinder heads were deemed illegal due to unapproved modifications. Myrtle Beach Speedways results for the finishing order will change to reflect Rick Smith in his Jordan Performance entry as the winner, all other competitors in the event will move-up one position in the run down.
