Drift Myrtle Beach Speedway Almost three years ago, on April 19th, 2006 we held our first ever drifting event at Myrtle Beach Speedway. As a testament to the success of our initial event we began hosting events every Wednesday night throughout the summer season that year. Once our Wednesday night events had reached their plateau we began hosting events on select Saturdays and Sundays to accommodate drivers traveling to Myrtle Beach from all around the southeast. In the past three years we have seen our events grow by leaps and bounds and attract the attention of the pro drift world. Our events have thus proved to offer more track time than any other events with our laid back format and grass roots approach to drifting. MBS is also one of the few facilities in the country were you have the opportunity to drift a .538 of a mile banked oval (with the proper safety requirements). Now we look to the future as the popularity and growth of our events have exceeded many people’s expectations. Look for many big things to come at Myrtle Beach in the drifting arena.
